The Portable ENG Set gives you two transmitters. One with a female XLR connector for use with your favourite handheld dynamic mic, and one with a 3.5mm mini-jack socket for use with the included ME2-II clip-on lavalier mic. The receiver is equipped with a 3.5mm mini-jack, and can be mounted to your DSLR using the included cold shoe mount. The set’s 3.5mm coiled cable can then be plugged into your receiver and your camera’s microphone input. Pair your transmitters to your receiver, plug them in, and you’re all set – the system will handle channel allocation and interference management automatically.
