Get the sound right at source. The wide range of features on-board allows you to get the sound great before it even hits the preamp. Utilise the -10dB and -20dB pads to reduce the microphone’s sensitivity. Engage these when recording instruments such as drums and amplifiers with particularly high SPLs. This is perfect for eradicating any risk of clipping and distortion. Too much rumble? no problem. The three position, adjustable high-pass filter allows you to decrease the OC18’s low-frequency pick-up.
